How to set up ?

Product - Simple

When you add products to the store, if you do not have any special parameters, your product will be displayed as Product - Simple.

Product - Variable

Variable products are a product type that lets you offer a set of variations on a product with control over prices, stock, image, and more for each variation. They can be used for a product like a T-Shirt which you can offer in different colours and sizes.

Product - On sale

When your product has a Price lower than Compare at price, the product will display as Product - On sale

Product - Grouped

A product group is a high-level grouping of products. Product groups enable you to categorize products based on a business model. When you define an individual product or a product kit, you can optionally associate a product with a product group.

Step by step to set up Baberry Theme uses the Metafields Manager App to assign values to each different product to perform various functions. Product - Grouped is a function that uses the Metafields Manager App.

  1. Create a linklist containing the products you want to add Ex: Write a linklist named Grouped Products, this linklist contains 3 products.
  2. Install Metafields Manager App
  3. Access to the Metafields Manager App
  4. Click Manage metafields
  5. Click Product and find for the product you want to create metafields.
  6. Create metafields
  7. Click save

Product - Pre Order

A product pre order is an order placed for an item that has not yet been released.

If your product is not available in stock then it will display as Product - Pre-Order

Product — Sold out / Incoming

This is also one type of product out of stock, customers can let you know if they want to be informed when a sold out product becomes available again.

Step by step

  1. In your Customize Theme screen
  2. Under the Section setting tab
  3. Click Product pages
  4. Find and click Show stock notification form

Product — External / Affiliate

An external product is a useful way to add a product on your site that your customers will purchase on another site. An example of this would be a product that you link to on another site and you receive a commission, which is similar to an affiliate in a lot of ways.

This function also uses the Metafields Manager App.

  1. Install Metafields Manager App
  2. Access to the Metafields Manager App
  3. Click Manage metafields
  4. Click Product and find for the product you want to create metafields.
  5. Create metafields You need to write 2 metafields:
  6. external_btn.
  7. external_link
  8. Click Save

Product - with Video

This is the type of product with video description. This is also a form of function supported from the Metafields Manager App.

  1. Install Metafields Manager App
  2. Access to the Metafields Manager App
  3. Click Manage metafields
  4. Click Product and find for the product you want to create metafields.
  5. Create metafields
  6. Click Save

Product - with Countdown

To use Product with countdown, you only need to set up similar to Product - with Video, the only difference is in step 5.
